The White Sheik

(1952)Directed by Federico Fellini83 minComedy, Romance
“A Very Funny Picture by Federico Fellini”

Wanda Giardino Cavalli (Brunella Bovo) has barely stepped off the train in Rome with her new husband when she slips away to find the star of her favorite photo-strip romance, the White Sheik (Alberto Sordi). Ivan (Leopoldo Trieste) is left to cover for her with the relatives and the Pope. Federico Fellini sets the daydreams of a small-town bride against a husband's wish for a proper honeymoon, and neither one is easy to dismiss.
