The Wife of an Important Man

Mona (Mervat Amin) wants a steady marriage, and she thinks she has found it in Hisham (Ahmed Zaki), a police officer with a decent face and a good name among the people who know him. Soon she begins to see another man behind that name, one the neighbors and the Assembly members never meet. Mohamed Khan sets the story in the Sadat years and keeps his eye on Mona, watching the marriage from her side of the apartment.
