The Wild Chicks

Sprotte (Michelle von Treuberg) is twelve and runs a gang with her friends Frieda (Lucie Hollmann), Melanie (Paula Riemann), and Trude (Zsá Zsá Inci Bürkle), who look after her grandmother's chickens. Then Wilma (Jette Hering) turns up as the new girl at school and wants in, which Melanie flatly refuses, while a rival gang of boys keeps the feud going. Vivian Naefe follows these friendships through growing up, where belonging means making room for someone new.
