The Wildcat
Rischka (Pola Negri) is the daughter of a bandit chief in the mountains, and what she wants is plain enough: she wants the new lieutenant at the fort, and she means to take him. Leutnant Alexis (Paul Heidemann) arrives at Tossenstein to take up his post, and the bandits catch him before he gets there. Lubitsch shot it at Tempelhof in Berlin as a grotesque in four acts, and he lets every scene run loud and broad.
