The Wind Journeys

“A musician travels a great distance to return an instrument to his elderly teacher.”

Ignacio Carrillo (Marciano Martínez) is a vallenato singer from Majagual who buries his wife and decides to give up music for good. He sets out on foot across Northern Colombia, carrying the accordion he believes is cursed, to return it to the master who gave it to him in Taroa. Ciro Guerra sends him on the road with Fermín (Yull Núñez), a teenage boy who wants his songs, and a desert still ahead.
