The Wind That Shakes the Barley

Damien (Cillian Murphy), a young doctor in 1920s Ireland, has a post waiting in a London hospital and is saying his goodbyes at a friend's farm when the Black and Tans arrive. A young man is killed, and Damien joins his brother Teddy (Pádraic Delaney) in the Irish Republican Army instead. Ken Loach follows the two through the Cork countryside, brothers who share a cause and a family long before they share anything else.
