The Wizard of Gore

“What are you afraid of?”

Women are dying across the city, and the deaths match the stage tricks of Montag the Magnificent (Crispin Glover), a carnival magician who stages his illusions as gruesome spectacles. Edmund Bigelow (Kip Pardue), an underground journalist, starts digging into the pattern, with Maggie (Bijou Phillips) beside him. Jeremy Kasten makes the case a good deal stranger than Edmund bargained for, and every show he sits through puts more of his own life on the line.
