The Wolf Man

Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney Jr.) comes home to the family estate after his brother's death, and within days a werewolf in the woods has bitten him. George Waggner keeps the early scenes quiet and wary, as if the house already knows what is coming. Larry's father, Sir John Talbot (Claude Rains), stands beside a son who is changing, and he cannot get close enough to help.
