The Woman in Black

“What did they see?”

Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) has been sent to a remote village to settle the papers of a client who has just died, and the locals meet him with silence. Alone in the dead woman's isolated house, he keeps glimpsing a figure dressed in black, and Mr. Daily (Ciarán Hinds) is the one man in the village willing to speak to him. James Watkins keeps the camera patient and the house quiet, so the dread comes from what waits at the edge of the frame.
