The Wonder

Lib Wright (Florence Pugh), an English nurse haunted by her past, crosses to a remote Irish village in 1862 to watch Anna O'Donnell (Kíla Lord Cassidy), a girl said to have lived for months without food. Sebastián Lelio sets the two of them in a small, shut room, with village elders waiting on whatever Lib reports. If the child is starving, she has only days left, and Lib is the one who has to decide what she sees.
