The World Is Yours

Farés (Karim Leklou) deals drugs in Paris and wants out, ideally with enough money to leave the whole life behind. His way out is one last job tied to Spain, which pulls in some unhinged gangsters, a woman he has long had a crush on, and his scheming mother Danny (Isabelle Adjani). Romain Gavras plays it as a crime comedy where everyone chases the same dream of getting free and nobody has a sensible plan.
