The World Unseen

“Nothing can stop you from falling in love”

In 1950s Cape Town, as apartheid hardens into law, Amina Harjan (Sheetal Sheth) runs a small café with her husband Omar (Parvin Dabas) and keeps to the life expected of her. Shamim Sarif, adapting her own novel, brings in Miriam (Lisa Ray), a woman who lives by no one's rules but her own. Amina has never had a reason to look past what her world allows, and now she does.
