The Worst Person in the World

“One woman's quest for love and meaning in the modern world.”

Nobody around Julie (Renate Reinsve) can say why she keeps starting things and walking away from them, least of all Julie. Joachim Trier follows her through four years in Oslo as she tries on one career path after another and falls in with Aksel (Anders Danielsen Lie), an older graphic novelist who knows exactly what he wants. Their love is real and so is the distance between them, and neither of them can do much about it.
