The Wrestler

“Love. Pain. Glory.”

Randy "The Ram" Robinson (Mickey Rourke) is still working the wrestling circuit, long past his prime, until one brutal beating makes him hang up his tights. He starts seeing Cassidy (Marisa Tomei), a stripper nearing the end of her own career, and tries to reach his estranged daughter Stephanie (Evan Rachel Wood). Darren Aronofsky follows a man whose body is failing, and whose real life is thin and quiet, while the ring keeps calling him back.
