The Year of Spectacular Men

“Quarter-life crisis. Full-on issues.”

Izzy Klein (Madelyn Deutch) has just finished college, and nothing is working: not her jobs, not the dating pool, not the top-sheet on her bed, which she fears more than she should. Lea Thompson, directing her own daughters Madelyn and Zoey Deutch (Sabrina Klein), follows Izzy through a year of half-hearted relationships with self-centered men. Her mother and sister have their own troubles, and being honest with them turns out to matter more than any of the men.
