The Yellow Birds

“There Are Moments That Test Us And Choices That Define Us”

In the Iraq war, two young soldiers, Bartle (Alden Ehrenreich) and Murph (Tye Sheridan), serve under Sergeant Sterling (Jack Huston), an older man who is already worn down. Before they shipped out, Bartle made a promise to Murph's mother, Maureen (Jennifer Aniston), and he carries it through every patrol. Alexandre Moors keeps the film close on Bartle's face, a young man holding a promise he cannot put down.
