The Young Girls of Rochefort

Somewhere in Rochefort, the right people keep passing within a few feet of each other and never meet. Twin sisters Delphine (Catherine Deneuve) and Solange (Françoise Dorléac) teach and compose in a quiet seaside town, and they want more than it offers. Over the weekend of the fair, as sailors and artists drift through, Jacques Demy sets them walking toward a love they cannot yet see.
