Theeran Thirumaran (Karthi) is a police officer who wants one thing: to find the dacoits who have terrorised the residents of the highway for a decade. H. Vinoth bases the story on the Bawaria robberies in Tamil Nadu in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It follows the special investigation team that went after Oma (Abhimanyu Singh) and his gang, and it treats the work as a matter of patient detail.
