“A STORY OF UNDYING FAITH!”

George Armstrong Custer (Errol Flynn) arrives at West Point with a taste for glory and a long record of demerits. The Civil War gives him the chance he wanted, and he rides at the head of his men whether or not the orders say to. Raoul Walsh puts Custer beside Elizabeth Bacon (Olivia de Havilland), who loves the swagger and fears where it will lead him.
