Thieves Like Us

“Robbing 36 banks was easy. Watch what happens when they hit the 37th.”

Three convicts break out of prison in 1930s America and start robbing banks across the country. Robert Altman follows Bowie (Keith Carradine), the youngest of them, who meets Keechie (Shelley Duvall) while the gang plans one last job before splitting up. What these people want is the ordinary things, a place to stay and someone to stay with, and the money is only how they try to pay for it.
