Things Heard & Seen

“Mistrust your senses.”

Catherine Claire (Amanda Seyfried) leaves Manhattan with her husband George (James Norton), who has taken a teaching job, and settles into an old house in a small town in the Hudson Valley. Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini let the house feel wrong in small ways, and Catherine begins to suspect that George is keeping secrets of his own. As they unpack, the distance between the two of them is easier to see than anything in the walls.
