“Let the curse fit the crime.”

Billy Halleck (Robert John Burke), a heavy and well-fed lawyer, touches the cheek of an old Romani man, Tadzu Lempke (Michael Constantine), and wakes up lighter every morning. Tom Holland, adapting Stephen King, follows Billy as the scale keeps dropping and he turns to his organized-crime friends for help. His wife Heidi (Lucinda Jenney) watches him shrink, and the film treats his own appetite as what led him here.
