Thirteen

“It's happening so fast.”

Tracy (Evan Rachel Wood), a 13-year-old in Los Angeles, gets pulled into the orbit of Evie (Nikki Reed), the most popular girl at her middle school. Catherine Hardwicke, who wrote the script with Reed from Reed's own early teens, follows the two as Evie hands Tracy a world of sex, drugs and money. Tracy's mother Melanie (Holly Hunter) watches her daughter change, and the closeness between them starts to wear thin.
