This Is England

“Run with the crowd, stand alone, you decide.”

Shaun (Thomas Turgoose) is a boy in England in 1983, still in school, still fighting, with a father gone and not much else to hold onto. A group of skinheads on his walk home take him in, and Milky (Andrew Shim), Lol (Vicky McClure) and the rest give him a place to belong. Shane Meadows draws on his own youth, and what grows between Shaun and the older, harder Combo (Stephen Graham) is a bond neither of them can easily walk away from.
