“Delve into the darkness.”

Across the Nine Realms, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is still putting down wars in the aftermath of the Bifrost's destruction, while an ancient dark race led by Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) stirs after thousands of years. Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) is pulled into it, and Asgard under Odin (Anthony Hopkins) cannot hold the enemy back. Director Alan Taylor sets the whole universe at risk, and Thor has to ask for help from his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
