Thou Gild'st the Even

“man is created of 'anxiety'”

Cemal (Ali Atay) wants an ordinary life in a small Anatolian town, working in his father's barbershop and refereeing football on his days off. The trouble is that nearly everyone around him, including Yasemin (Demet Evgar) and Defne (Damla Sönmez), carries some supernatural power and still has to deal with everyday problems. Onur Ünlü treats those powers as no more remarkable than a haircut, and the people in it keep wanting what anyone wants.
