Thread of Lies

“The kind of lies we always tell the kind that we want to expose.”

In a Korean apartment complex, a young girl's suicide leaves her mother Hyeon-sook (Kim Hee-ae) and older sister Man-ji (Ko Asung) with a new address and no explanation. Lee Han adapts Kim Ryeo-ryeong's bestselling novel, following Man-ji to her sister's school, where she tracks the clues to Cheon-ji's best friend, Hwa-yeon (Kim You-jung). If Man-ji can't find out why, the family has nothing left to hold onto except the silence.
