Three Ages

(1923)Directed by Buster Keaton, Edward F. Cline64 minComedy
“A cyclone of laughs and thrills”

The Boy (Buster Keaton) wants the Girl (Margaret Leahy), and so does the Villain (Wallace Beery), which is the whole quarrel. Keaton and Edward F. Cline tell it three times, in the Stone Age, ancient Rome and the present day, with a turtle for a ouija board, dogs in place of chariot horses and a very fragile car. The same suitors and the same contest keep returning, whatever the century, whatever they have to compete with.
