Three... Extremes

“From the Nightmares of 3 Horror Masters.”

Three short films from three countries, each built around a figure with a debt to settle: a witch doctor, a filmmaker and the extra who wants revenge on him, a novelist and her twin sister. Fruit Chan and Takashi Miike are among the directors, and Miike's "Box" follows Kyoko (Kyoko Hasegawa), who is still haunted by the sister she grew up beside. The dread there comes out of that bond, and Kyoko cannot stop looking back at it.
