Three Floors

A single night sets off the story in a Roman apartment building, and the people living on its three floors are pulled into it. Nanni Moretti, adapting Eshkol Nevo's novel and moving it from Tel Aviv to Rome, follows Dora (Margherita Buy), Lucio (Riccardo Scamarcio) and Monica (Alba Rohrwacher) as each family's private trouble pushes against the walls. Every household here risks its standing among the neighbors, who live close enough to see everything.
