Three Fugitives

“They rob banks. She steals hearts.”

Lucas (Nick Nolte) walks out of jail after serving time for fourteen armed bank robberies and wants nothing more than to go straight. Within hours he is standing in a bank during someone else's holdup, and Detective Dugan (James Earl Jones) is sure Lucas planned it. The man behind the gun is Ned Perry (Martin Short), who only wants the money to keep his daughter Meg and pay for her treatment.
