Three Heroes on Distant Shores

Alyosha Popovich, Dobrynya and Ilya Muromets, the three bogatyrs of Kiev, get tricked by Baba Yaga (Elizaveta Boyarskaya) and end up on a far island among natives, a long way from home. While they are gone, the merchant Kolyvan and Baba Yaga move to seize the kingdom from the Knyaz of Kiev (Sergey Makovetskiy). Konstantin Feoktistov's cartoon makes the story about whether home still holds when the people who guard it are away.
