Three Thousand Years of Longing

“What would you wish for?”

Alithea (Tilda Swinton) is a scholar of stories who lives alone, content with her own company, and travels to Istanbul for a conference. In a shop there she buys a small glass bottle, and when she opens it a djinn (Idris Elba) steps out and offers her three wishes. George Miller has her turn him down, because she cannot think of one thing she wants.
