Three Wishes for Cinderella

Popelka (Libuše Šafránková) works as a servant in her stepmother's house, and what she wants is a little freedom, which she mostly spends talking to her friend the owl. Then she finds three magical acorns, each good for one wish, and Václav Vorlíček sets her loose with them in a story that borrows from Cinderella. A Prince (Pavel Trávníček) is waiting on the other side of the wishes, and the film treats her cleverness and her nerve as the real magic.
