Thriller: A Cruel Picture

Madeleine (Christina Lindberg) has not spoken since she was assaulted as a child, and she lives quietly in the Swedish countryside until she accepts a ride from a stranger. The stranger is Tony (Heinz Hopf), a wealthy pimp who traps her in his prostitution racket and keeps her under control with heroin. Bo Arne Vibenius, writing and directing as Alex Fridolinski, makes a film about a woman who is silenced and then used, and who learns to answer.
