Through the Olive Trees

A film director in earthquake-ravaged northern Iran loses the actor for a scene and casts Hossein (Hossein Rezai), a local laborer, in his place. His co-star is Tahereh (Tahereh Ladanian), and the two already know each other, which makes every take harder than it should be. Abbas Kiarostami follows Hossein between takes as he keeps asking Tahereh the same question, and she keeps declining to answer.
