Captain Jagadish (Vijay), an Indian Army intelligence officer, comes home to Mumbai on leave and walks straight into a city bus bombing he barely survives. Murugadoss keeps Jagadish on the hunt, a soldier who cannot stop working even while his family and a marriage proposal wait on him.
