“They say the past always catches up with you. This could be the day.”

Casey Wells (Thomas Jane) used to deal drugs in Los Angeles, and now he designs buildings as an architect in a Texas suburb, married to Christine (Paula Marshall). Then his old partner Nick (Aaron Eckhart) turns up at the door with heroin and a gangster's errands. Skip Woods writes it as a black comedy, and every violent stranger who follows Nick in puts the house, the marriage and Casey's new name at risk.
