“They’re in this together for better or worse.”

Georgia (Julia Roberts) and David Cotton (George Clooney) have been divorced for years and can barely stand to share a car. Then their daughter Lily (Kaitlyn Dever) announces she is marrying Gede (Maxime Bouttier), a man she met in Bali. Ol Parker sends the two exes after the wedding together, and Lily stands in the middle of it, the one person who cannot see why they are so worried.
