“Elvis as singing, swinging wrangler on a Dude Ranch... for Girls!”

Gold is supposedly hidden somewhere in a ghost town, and the trail runs through an all-female dude ranch. Lonnie Beale (Elvis Presley), a singing rodeo rider short on work, takes a job there, and Norman Taurog sends him in among a ranch full of guests and a physical trainer, Vera Radford (Julie Adams). Lonnie lands between her sharp attention and the quieter pull of Pam Meritt (Jocelyn Lane), and neither of them is easy to read.
