Dragon Yau (Donnie Yen), an ex-cop, and Mandy Chang (Rosamund Kwan Chi-Lam), a divorce lawyer, get dragged into a dirty money scheme run by a vicious launderer who plans to expand and wipe out anyone in his way. With their names on the line, they join forces with a gangster, David (David Wu). Yuen Woo-ping builds it around people with no one left to trust, where a bad alliance is still the only way out.
