Time Out of Mind

George (Richard Gere) has just been evicted from the place where he was squatting, and what he wants most is to reach the daughter (Jena Malone) he abandoned. Oren Moverman follows him through the shelters and the intake offices, where the Building Manager (Steve Buscemi) and a Receptionist (Danielle Brooks) work the system he has to learn. Gere stands at the edge of a crowded frame, small against the street, and tries to find somewhere quiet to sit.
