Time to Kill
“An innocent man just went over the edge of reason.”
In 1936, during the Italian invasion of Ethiopia, Enrico Silvestri (Nicolas Cage) is wounded when his truck wrecks and leaves him stranded in the desert. Giuliano Montaldo, adapting Ennio Flaiano's novel, follows him as he walks toward the nearest army hospital, his hold on his own mind loosening with every mile. The film was shot in Zimbabwe, and Cage crosses that dry ground alone, a wounded soldier in a uniform that no longer means anything.
