The screen splits into four, and each square holds a different part of the same afternoon at a Los Angeles production company, with no cuts to tell you where to look. Mike Figgis shot all four as unbroken takes at once, so a casting call, a jealous spy and a lunch with a lawyer play out side by side. Emma (Saffron Burrows) suspects her husband Alex is seeing the actress Rose, and what she does about it is the thread the quadrants keep returning to.
