“They killed his wife ten years ago. There's still time to save her.”

Max Walker (Jean-Claude Van Damme) wants to keep time travel from being used to rewrite history, which is the job he does for a federal agency in 2004. His work puts him against Senator Aaron McComb (Ron Silver), a politician with a tie to Max's own past who has reason to want him gone. Peter Hyams directs it as a straight run of fights and chases, with Van Damme's splits and kicks driving most of the action.
