Tiptoes

“It's the little things in life that matter.”

Steven (Matthew McConaughey) has been engaged to Carol (Kate Beckinsale) for months and has never taken her to meet his family, and he keeps changing the subject when she asks. Carol is pregnant, and the reason he stays away is that his parents, his uncle and his brother Rolfe (Gary Oldman) are all dwarfs. Matthew Bright, who also wrote the script, plays the family drama as plainly as he can and puts Oldman, Arquette and Dinklage in the same rooms as McConaughey.
