Titane

“Titane: A metal highly resistant to heat and corrosion, with high tensile strength alloys.”

A car crash in her childhood left Alexia (Agathe Rousselle) with a titanium plate in her skull, and as an adult she works as a model at car shows, dancing on the hoods of the machines she is drawn to. The first killings pull her into a life of hiding, and her path eventually crosses Vincent (Vincent Lindon), a firefighter whose son has been missing for ten years. Julia Ducournau gives the metal and the human body the same hard, close attention.
