Tizoc
“Indigenous Love”
Tizoc (Pedro Infante) is an Indian hunter who can take an animal without marking its skin, and the people around him know him as a wise and gentle man. His skill draws envy from the others in his community, and the film follows him through that resentment under Ismael Rodríguez's direction, with María Félix as María. Infante, in what would be his last film, plays him quiet and steady, his hands careful on the animals he catches.
