To Be or Not to Be

“THAT is the movie!”

Dr. Frederick Bronski (Mel Brooks) is a mediocre actor in Warsaw who plays every role as if the audience owes him applause. He keeps going on stage while his wife, Anna (Anne Bancroft), entertains young Polish officers in her dressing room, and it wounds him more than he admits. When the Germans invade and Lt. Andre Sobinski (Tim Matheson) returns on a secret mission, Frederick takes charge of the escape plan.
