Koyomi Takasaki (Hio Miyazawa) starts at a new school after his parents' divorce, and the girl who speaks to him there, Kazune Takigawa (Ai Hashimoto), behaves as if they have met before. She says she comes from World Line 85, an alternate universe where the two of them are lovers. Jun Matsumoto keeps Koyomi at the center, a boy slowly unsure whether Kazune or he is the one who has crossed over.
